On Eid al-Fitr in 2020 AD (the year of the Corona pandemic), travel was banned all over the world and we were deprived of sharing the joy of Eid with our brothers who were detained in Australia and America. Between the loneliness of alienation and longing for family on the one hand, and the conditions of quarantine on the other hand, feelings conflicted between pain, boredom, and depression on the first Eid spent outside the homeland. What is Eid without the hugs of family and the laughter of friends?

What Corona ruined, a bouquet of roses fixed

We began to think how could our distant bodies be close souls? How can we send them our love and longing and share their joy? After deep thought, we decided to fix what Corona ruined. One rose is worth a thousand words of love and longing!

The search for the “Messenger of Love”

We browsed online flower stores in America and Australia, and within a few minutes, with the click of a button, we completed the purchase and the surprise arrived at the homes and hearts of our loved ones abroad! The happiness that overwhelmed them and the tears of joy and longing that reached us through their voices and “snaps” cannot be described.

The beginning of Peony Flower

From here came the idea of our project, and we decided to establish a distinct Saudi brand for selling roses.

We opened our online store on November 7, 2020 under the name Peony Flowers, based in Jeddah.

We chose roses because they have a magical power, with their bright colors and fragrant scent, to put a smile on faces and create a feeling of comfort and optimism.

We spent nights choosing a brand name that would express our message, and after contemplating and contemplating the names and characteristics of roses, we chose Peony Flowers, which are called the heavenly fragrance and the queen of flowers. They grow on three continents: Asia, Europe, and North America.

The brand was chosen to combine the heart with rose petals because with every heartbeat, a rose grows .

Our message is to bridge distances by conveying your feelings with the scent of roses to those you love.
